High Open, High Walk, Explosive Ending, Truly a Great Drama with an 8.7 Rating

The Korean drama ‘The Deadline is Near’ which was hailed as the highlight of 2023! This Korean drama is indeed something special, with a series of escalating events leading to a perfect conclusion that ties all storylines together.
Even my biggest worry of a ‘bad ending’ scenario did not occur. Although some fans criticized the male lead’s final reincarnation as a mother for being a bit preachy, the overall outcome was quite satisfactory and remained consistent with the original manga ending. It is a high-rated Korean drama that is both entertaining and heartwarming.
From the moment the male lead Choi Ik-Che was killed along with his girlfriend in a car accident in the fourth episode, the story began to unfold with cause-and-effect relationships.
The one who hit them with a car was the eldest son of the Taekang Group, Park Tae-Yoo. This character had very limited appearances in the early story, but it was revealed after the death of the seventh reincarnation of the male lead that in his previous deaths, apart from a couple of accidents, all other deaths were related to Park Tae-Yoo.
