Hilarious Comedy from Start to Finish: A Must-Watch Movie That Shouldn’t Be Seen While Eating

Movie Title: ‘Extreme Job’

When you hear the title of this movie, you might initially think of tough Western action films like Jason Statham’s ‘Crank’.

However, it’s not like that at all. It’s just a comedy with a bunch of characters who are far from tough, they are actually quite useless.

This movie has sparked a craze in South Korea.

Since its release, it has topped the box office for 22 consecutive days. With an investment of only 95 billion Korean won, it has already raked in 137 billion Korean won in box office revenue, with over 16 million viewers, and South Korea’s population is only 51 million.

‘South Korean box office champion, low-budget movie, ubiquitous comedic twists…’

This movie came with its own tagline after its release, and today I’ll tell you all about it.

The story starts with a somewhat silly drug enforcement team.

They are not as cautious and efficient as you might imagine, but instead always causing trouble and getting scolded by their superiors, like ‘wastes of the police force’.

Fortunately, they are very united, more like a family than colleagues.

Team leader, Chief Ko, an old cop representing the majority of middle-aged men, diligent but unable to achieve his revenge as planned, his career is pitiful, and his family life is a mess.

Policewoman Jang, the only female in the team, has nothing to do with being gentle and kind, she is the team’s powerhouse!

Officer Ma is a bit timid, but he is great in the kitchen, and thanks to him, what was supposed to be a serious investigation turned into a ‘culinary adventure’.
