Lee Jin-ho Refutes Jin Se-ron’s Family Press Conference, Reveals ‘Original Uncensored Photos’ to Expose Fake News! Horizontally and Vertically Research Adds Latest Public Accusations Footage
Around the controversy involving Kim Soo-hyun and the late Jin Se-ron has entered its second phase starting yesterday. The YouTube channel ‘Horizontally and Vertically Research Institute’ held a press conference with Kim Shi-yi and Jin Se-ron’s appointed lawyer, revealing that individuals from Kim Soo-hyun’s side hired assailants to attack a witness in the United States. Following this, Lee Jin-ho also held a press conference, presenting immediate counter-evidence.
Kim Shi-yi publicly disclosed a conversation recording between the informant from New Jersey and Jin Se-ron, where Jin Se-ron claimed to have been forced into a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun from middle school to college, being coerced during the middle school winter break. Kim Shi-yi also alleged that the informant was attacked by unknown individuals, suspected to be instigated by people around Kim Soo-hyun, and shared two partially blurred photos of wounds provided by the informant, located on the left hand and shoulder.
Following the press conference by Kim Shi-yi, Goldmedalist, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, immediately released a statement refuting the claims, stating that the recording was AI-generated, and the injury photos were downloaded from the internet, accusing the Horizontally and Vertically Research Institute of fabricating the allegations.

Subsequently, YTR Lee Jin-ho also held an urgent press conference to provide a rebuttal, unveiling high-definition original images found online, where the hand photo was from 2021, depicting a special makeup prop demonstration; while the shoulder photo was originally uploaded to the internet in 2008. Lee Jin-ho believes that Kim Shi-yi did not even perform basic verification and blindly believed the photos provided by the scammer.
Lee Jin-ho referred to the informant mentioned by Kim Shi-yi as the ‘New Jersey scammer,’ stating that this individual met Jin Se-ron by chance at a large diner in New Jersey last November, and in January this year, Jin Se-ron asked to borrow money from him. They met at a coffee shop and recorded a conversation, where Jin Se-ron mentioned that he only dated Kim Soo-hyun after reaching adulthood, praising Kim Soo-hyun as a very good older brother. Lee Jin-ho claimed that the voice of Jin Se-ron in the recording shared by Kim Shi-yi was actually synthesized by AI, and the informant used AI to create a voice identical to Jin Se-ron’s, adding their own voice and noise. Lee Jin-ho distributed relevant identification reports to reporters during the press conference.
Kim Soo-hyun’s legal representative from LKB & Partners Law Firm also attended the press conference, condemning Kim Shi-yi for fabricating false evidence and spreading rumors, and will file criminal and civil lawsuits citing violations of the ‘Stalking and Harassment Punishment Act’ and the ‘Information and Communication Network Act.’
But it doesn’t end there, Kim Shi-yi made another twist in last night’s live stream, not only denying the AI claim but also revealing a video of the wounds provided by the informant. Kim Shi-yi stated that the informant was very angry and decided to provide evidence with their real voice in the future, no longer relying on dubbing.
In the video, the informant mentioned, ‘I wanted to take photos, but to avoid more false accusations, I chose to record. My left hand is not mobile due to a nerve injury, causing a tremor when filming the right shoulder. I wanted to film the injured part of the left hand, but to avoid infection, I could only remove a portion of the gauze: ‘If I’m still questioned at this point, wow, what should I do?’ The video was recorded at 4:46 pm on May 7th in Korea, after Lee Jin-ho’s press conference.
In the ensuing video, the informant A said, ‘My left hand cannot move. When trying to take a picture of the right shoulder, my hand shakes a bit. Please understand, and I tried to take a photo and send it, but I’m very grateful that I didn’t make a noise.
