On May 5 at 8 PM, The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards was held at COEX D Hall in Samseong-dong. Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum served as MCs for the event.
On this day, Namgoong Min and Honey Lee took the stage together to present the Best Actor/Actress Award in the Broadcasting Category, capturing the audience’s attention.
Namgoong Min expressed, ‘I often wonder, ‘Am I really acting well?’ Even though I pour everything into my roles, I always carry that question with me.’ Honey Lee empathized, ‘I also feel like I always give my best, but just because you try your best doesn’t mean the results are always satisfying. Still, acting is more fun than anything else, and in terms of enjoyment, I think acting is the most fun.’
Meanwhile, Honey Lee recently made headlines after announcing her second pregnancy. She previously married a non-celebrity two years her senior in December 2021 and gave birth to a daughter in June 2022.
The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards maintained its identity as a festival celebrating all members of the pop culture and arts community, while also implementing expanded changes—most notably, renaming the TV category to the Broadcasting category.
This year’s Baeksang, with its new Broadcasting category, brought together key figures who have broken down platform boundaries and made outstanding contributions, garnering much attention.
