After the debut of the new girl group ‘KiiiKiii’ by Starship Entertainment earlier this year, the new boy group ‘idid’ has also finalized its debut members, set to debut in the second half of this year!
On the evening of the 4th of this month at 8 p.m., the ‘EP.9 Final Debut LIVE’ broadcasted live on the YouTube channel ‘NewKids on the STARSHIP’ featured the final debut evaluation with over 2,400 fans joining in for the New Kids final debut stage. 
Hosted by Monsta X’s Juhan, K.will, MONSTA X Shownu, and Kihyun, CRAVITY’s Serim, Allen, Ximing, WJSN’s Summer, Dorong, Yeonjong, IVE’s Autumn, Liz, Rei, and KiiiKiii, all from ‘STARSHIP,’ made an appearance to add splendor to the debut stage of the new boy group ‘idid (아이딧).’
The final lineup consisting of Kim Min Chae, Jang Yong Hoon, Baek Jun Hee, Park Won Bin, Qiu Yu Juan, Jung Shi Hyun, Park Jun Hwan, and Park Seong Hyun as the final debut members of ‘idid (아이딧)’ has captured the attention of K-POP fans worldwide. The name ‘idid’ represents the ambition to achieve anything through hard work and is expected to debut in the second half of this year.
However… the new boy group name has also sparked heated discussions among Korean netizens, with comments like ‘It’s an IVE-style name,’ ‘IVE fans must be annoyed,’ ‘There are so many group names starting with I,’ ‘Although they are from the same company… I hate this,’ ‘Just call it ID,’ ‘It’s too similar to IVE,’ ‘Just call it NewKids instead,’ ‘I immediately think of i-dle,’ ‘Every time a new idol name appears, there are not-so-good comments, but we will get used to it in the future,’ ‘There are many similar group names recently,’ and more.
